In 2000, the complex earned the USTA Outstanding Tennis Facility Award in the large facility category. Cooper Tennis Complex won the award again in 2016. In 2002, Tennis Industry Magazine named the complex Municipal Facility of the Year. In 2006, the complex was named Facility of the Year by the USTA Missouri Valley Section.
