History

The club was founded in 1890, and won their first silverware, The Dudley Cup, in 1920. They entered the Berwickshire Junior League in 1925. In 1930 they entered the Border Amateur League and the following year they joined the East of Scotland League where they played until 1939. Their most successful season being 1934-35 where they finished runners up. In 1935 they played in the Scottish Cup for the first time, losing 7–1 at home to
