Personal life

Cansel Özkan was born in 2003. She has a one-year older sister Aysel. The sisters grew up in the Children's Home Coordination Center ( tr, Çocuk Evi Koordinasyon Merkezi, ÇEKOM) in

Sport career

Özkan started weightlifting together with her sister. She participated at the 2019 Youth World Weightlifting Championships in
