Elleby set a new career high with 34 points while also grabbing 10 rebounds on February 9, 2020 in a 79–67 win over Washington. Elleby became the third-fastest player in Cougars' history to score 1,000 career points during a 21-point performance in a 78–74 win over Washington to complete a regular season sweep of the Huskies. At the conclusion of the regular season, Elleby was named to the First Team All-Pac-12. As a sophomore, Elleby averaged 18.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Following the season, he declared for the
