Karma and Dashidorzieva tied with each other in the game's following two sets until the Russian won the final set to win the match. Shooting
Kunzang Lenchu also made her first appearance in the Olympics at the 2016 Games. She qualified for the women's 10 metre air rifle shooting tournament after being awarded a wildcard place from the Tripartite Commission. Lenchu spent time in India preparing for the Games because of a lack of shooting facilities in Bhutan. Before the Games she said that she was disappointed at finishing 12th at the South Asian Games
