Alexander Turner (1907–1993) was an Australian poet, playwright, and theatre and radio producer. He was one of the leading Western Australian writers of the twentieth century. Turner was born in London and moved to Western Australia in 1925. He became one of the leading writers in Western Australia, working mostly in radio. Turner became a producer in 1946. A book of his works was published in 1937.
