Agaricostilbales. Basidiocarps (fruitbodies}, where known, are stalked and capitate and produce spores on basidia that are laterally septate. Most species are known only from their yeast states. The family contains two genera (''Agaricostilbum'' being a synonym of ''Sterigmatomyces'').
