A sole page from what many consider to be his last journal he called "Het einde" or "The End" was recently discovered and sold at a private auction to The Rockefeller foundation in 2017 for 32.9 million USD. alleged leaked photos of the private auction state that the page contains a brief message about what Adriaan Metius wrote regarding his vision of the future.
