In July 2020, Kovačević signed a three-year deal with Hungarian outfit Ferencváros. He made his official debut for the team in a UEFA Champions League qualifier against Djurgården on 19 August. Two weeks later, he made his league debut against Zalaegerszeg. Kovačević debuted in the
