In December 2006, Before Today changed their name to Pierce the Veil, and that they had posted a few songs on their Myspace account. It was produced by Casey Bates, along with
Vic Fuentes Victor Vincent "Vic" Fuentes (born February 10, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter and musician, best known for his work with the American post-hardcore rock band Pierce the Veil. Biography Fuentes was born on February 10, 1983, in San Die ...
, and was recorded with only the Fuentes brothers taking up all instrument duties.
