Poison The Well (band)
Poison the Well is an American metalcore band from Miami, Florida who were last signed to Ferret Music. In 2010, they announced a hiatus to explore other interests. Lead guitarist Ryan Primack and drummer Chris Hornbrook, Christopher Hornbrook were the only remaining founding members, although vocalist Jeffrey Moreira featured on all five of their full-length albums. The band has since performed several reunion shows: two in 2015, eleven in 2016 and one in 2020. History Formation: Doubting Thomas to An Acre Lost (1997–1998) Poison the Well was originally formed under the name Doubting Thomas by lead vocalist Aryeh Lehrer and lead guitarist Ryan Primack in the autumn of 1997. Coral Springs, officially the City of Coral Springs, is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States. The city is located approximately northwest of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Fort Lauderdale. Undecided Records
Undecided Records was an American independent record label established in 1998 by Clifford Wiener and Alexander Kenny. The record company was founded in Loxahatchee, Florida but its headquarters moved around in various parts of Palm Beach County, Florida; first to Boca Raton, then to Parkland, and finally to Lake Worth. The record label released hardcore, metalcore, noisecore, post-hardcore and emo music, with a principally North American roster of artists spanning from the late 1990s to the mid-2000s. Undecided Records released music on vinyl records, compact discs and digital audio formats, with distribution in the United States through Revelation Records, Victory Records and RED Music. Enewetak (band)
Enewetak was a grindcore band formed in Orange, California, in 1994. Enewetak has been called "one of the most progressive hardcore bands of the mid-to-late nineties, overshadowing its contemporaries such as Unruh and Suicide Nation." From humble beginnings in garages and coffee houses, Enewetak went on to gain international acclaim for its unique sound and ever-evolving style. Eighteen Visions is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California, formed in October 1995. The band broke up in April 2007, less than a year after their major label debut was released through Epic and Trustkill Records. After over a decade of absence, the band reformed in 2017. They announced their sixth album, '' XVIII'', would be released via their new label home at Rise Records. Drowningman is an American hardcore punk band from Burlington, Vermont, which was active from 1995 to 2005. Candiria are an American progressive metal band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 1992, the band was part of the second wave of New York hardcore, but subsequently expanded its performance to also play jazz, hip hop and progressive rock. Brother's Keeper (band)
Brother's Keeper was an American metalcore band from Erie, Pennsylvania. History Formed in 1994 by members of a number of other local bands, Brother's Keeper became the backbone of the Erie hardcore punk and metalcore scene. Alongside bands like xDISCIPLEx A.D., Digression and Neverfall, they created a local community of youth bonded by a common musical interest. Biology was an indie rock band that was signed up to Vagrant Records. Biology was a creation of From Autumn to Ashes drummer Francis Mark (guitar and vocals), Every Time I Die bassist Josh Newton (guitar), producer Brian McTernan (bass) and Cornbread Compton of Engine Down (drums). Big Black Delta
Big Black Delta is a solo project of Mellowdrone vocalist/bassist Jonathan Bates. History Bates began the project in 2010 after becoming frustrated with the logistics of a band. Thanks to help from Alessandro Cortini, of Nine Inch Nails, he discovered the possibilities of producing music on a laptop and quickly set about building a new sound. In 2013, Bates released his self-titled album, ''Big Black Delta''. The album contained a mixture of fresh material and songs released on ''BBDLP1''. The album was released on Bates' own label, Masters of Bates, and was inspired by the soundtracks of Blade Runner and Solaris. It was positively received by critics and was compared by one reviewer to music from Muse and The Joy Formidable. As Friends Rust is an American melodic hardcore band based in Gainesville, Florida. The original line-up, which included vocalist Damien Moyal, guitarist Henry Olmino, bass guitarist Jeronimo Gomez and drummer Matthew Crum, formed in Davie, Florida in September 1996. After recording a demo tape but failing to secure a record deal, the band parted ways in February 1997. Following his move to Gainesville, Florida, Moyal reformed As Friends Rust in June 1997 with a new line-up (made-up mostly of then-members of his other band Culture), ultimately stabilizing the band with drummer Timothy Kirkpatrick, guitarists Gordon Tarpley and Joseph Simmons and bass guitarist and backing vocalist Kaleb Stewart.
