Swimming Australia Swimming Australia is the peak governing body for competitive swimming in Australia. The body has approximately 100,000 registered members nationally in 1100 clubs across the country, which includes swimmers, coaches, officials, administrators ...
will select a 56-person team, with a maximum of 28 male athletes and 28 females athletes. The first and second placed swimmers in the open final of any individual Olympic event will be selected provided they meet qualification times set out below by Swimming Australia.
