, Orlando, Florida. According to footage taken from the CCTV at the airport, the pilots made a check of the flights control. The spoilers on both wings extended, but only those on the left wing retracted again. The aircraft was then seen taxiing for departure with the three spoilers on the right wing still extended. After take-off, the crew immediately experienced a flight control problem. Soon after the control issue, the pilots declared an emergency and requested the vectors to return to the airport. As the situation advanced, the pilots decided to deviate back to Las Américas International Airport, where they were cleared to land on runway 35. On the final approach to the airport, the aircraft hit some trees and subsequently the ground at about 200 meters on the right side of the runway. The flight lasted a total of almost 16 minutes. The investigation on the accident is still ongoing and no final report is released.
