The team, however, collapsed, winning only 27 of their remaining 60 games, finishing fourth in the Pacific Division, and out of the playoffs for the third consecutive season. Head Coach Andy Murray was fired for their final 12 games with John Torchetti taking over, despite the team finishing with an impressive 42 wins.
