Ľubomír Galko
Ľubomír Galko (; born 14 February 1968, Klieština, Považská Bystrica) is a former minister of defense of Slovakia. A former member and vice-chairman for regions of Freedom and Solidarity (Sloboda a Solidarita, SaS), he is now a member of the extra-parliamentary Democratic Party (Demokratická strana, DS), though he has retained his seat in parliament. Stupava, Malacky District
Stupava (german: Stampfen; hu, Stomfa) is a town in western Slovakia. It is situated in the Malacky District, Bratislava Region. Etymology The name is derived from Proto-Slavic ''stǫpa'' ( sk, stupa) - a wooden bowl carved from a tree trunk, but also the name of various crushing and pressing tools. Ivan Gašparovič
Ivan Gašparovič (; born 27 March 1941) is a Slovak politician and lawyer who was third president of Slovakia from 2004 to 2014. He was also the first and currently the only Slovak president to be re-elected. Biography Ivan Gašparovič was born in Poltár, near Lučenec and Banská Bystrica in present-day south-central Slovakia, which was at the first Slovak Republic.
