İlkin Aydın
İlkin Aydın (born 5 January 2000) is a Turkish professional volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter for Galatasaray. Club career Aydın played at İlbank in 2015-2016 and then at TVF Sports High School between 2016 and 2017. Galatasaray Aydın transferred to Galatasaray for three years on 5 August 2017. On 8 August 2022, she signed a new 3-year contract with Galatasaray. She signed a new 2-year contract with Galatasaray on 26 December 2023. International career She was part of the Turkey women's national volleyball team, which became champion at the 2023 Women's European Volleyball Championship. The volleyball competition at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya was organized between 8 August and 15 August 2022. The volleyball competition took place at Karatay Congress and Sport Center in Konya. The Games were originally scheduled to take place from 20 to 29 August 2021 in Konya, Turkey. In May 2020, the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF), who are responsible for the direction and control of the Islamic Solidarity Games, postponed the games as the 2020 Summer Olympics were postponed to July and August 2021, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. 2020–21 Women's CEV Cup
The 2020–21 Women's CEV Cup was the 48th edition of the European Women's CEV Top Teams Cup, CEV Cup volleyball club tournament, the former "Top Teams Cup". Format The tournament is played on a Knockout tournament, knockout format, with 27 teams participating. Initially 20 teams were allocated direct vacancies to enter the competition, with another 7 teams joining the competition via 2018–19 CEV Women's Champions League qualification, Champions League qualification. On 29 June 2018, a drawing of lots in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, determined the team's pairing for each match. Each team plays a home and an away match with result points awarded for each leg (3 points for 3–0 or 3–1 wins, 2 points for 3–2 win, 1 point for 2–3 loss).
