Øyvind Staveland
Øyvind Staveland (born May 20, 1960) was the founder of the Norwegian band Vamp together with Torbjørn Økland in 1991. in Staveland has composed the music for the majority of Vamp's hits throughout the years including "Tir n'a noir", "Harry", "Sitte å tenke", "Ba", "Månemannen" and "Kim du nå va" (also lyrics for the latter). Vamp (initiated in 1990) is a folk-rock band from Haugesund, Norway with founding members Øyvind Staveland, Calle Øyvind Apeland, Paul Hansen, Bjørn Berge, Odin Staveland and Tore Jamne. The band's musical profile is a mix of Norwegian traditional folk music combined with rock. Biography Vamp have released 11 studio albums, collected ten gold records, three platinum records, two triple platinum and been awarded Spellemannprisen five times. Kolbein Falkeid
Kolbein Falkeid (19 December 1933 – 27 June 2021) was a Norwegian poet and lyricist. He was one of the most widely read contemporary Norwegian poets; known for a lyrical poet's voice that is at once philosophical and approachable. Biography Kolbein Falkeid was born in Haugesund, Norway. From 1962 onwards, he published over thirty titles, including his play ''The Terrorists'' (1980), which has been performed in Bergen, Norway at Den Nationale Scene, as well as in Japan, New York City, and Tel Aviv. Falkeid retired from a longstanding position teaching Norwegian language and literature at a public school in his hometown of Haugesund on the West Coast of Norway.
