Øystein Skar
Øystein Skar (born 15 October 1985 in Vinstra, Norway) is a Norwegian pianist and composer, known from bands like Cakewalk, Glow, Highasakite and Klang Kollektif. Career Skar was raised in Vinstra, Oppland and started at the local music school at the age of 12. He continued his piano studies on the Music program at the Vinstra high-school (2001), and started studying jazz-piano and improvisation under Misha Alperin at the Norwegian Academy of Music (2004). Prior to his settling in Oslo, Skar had performed classical piano for many years, but then the main focus moved to modern jazz, experimental music, avant-garde, rock, composing and electronic music with analogue synths and Lap-tops. But these days Øystein also performs more and more classical music as well, in addition to rock and pop in different bands, and as a solo pianist. Vinstra
Vinstra is a town in Nord-Fron Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The town is the administrative centre of the municipality. The town is located in the Gudbrandsdalen valley, at the confluence of the Gudbrandsdalslågen river and the Vinstra river (which flows from the lake Vinstre). The town has a population (2021) of 2,678 and a population density of . The European route E6 highway and the Dovrebanen railway line both pass through the town. Richard Lowell Nygaard (born July 9, 1940) is a Senior United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Education and career Richard Lowell Nygaard was born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, on July 9, 1940. He received a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude from the University of Southern California in 1969 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 1971. The Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, Norway, is a music education institute founded in 1927 by pianist Mary Barratt Due and violinist Henrik Adam Due.
