Özge Akın
Özge Akın (née Gürler, born June 17, 1985) is a Turkish sprinter competing in the 400 m events. She is the current Turkish record holder of the 400 m hurdles events. Following her marriage to her coach, her surname changed to Akın, although she was also subsequently known by the surname Akın-Gürler. Competing initially in the long jump and running sprint and middle distance, she specialized in 400 m and 400 m hurdles following her coach's recommendation. Özge Gürler was a member of İzmir Gençlik sports club, Anadolu University, Ankara MTA and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality sports club before she transferred to Enkaspor in Istanbul. She studied Physical Education and Sports at the Ege University in Izmir. Özge Gürler participated at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain in the 4 × 100 m relay, 400 m hurdles and 4 × 400 m relay events. Binnaz Uslu
Binnaz Uslu (born March 12, 1985, in Ankara) is a retired Turkish middle-distance and long-distance runner. She was banned from sport for life in 2014, after her second doping violation. The tall athlete at is a member of Enkaspor athletics team, where she was coached by Yahya Sevüktekin. Uslu was a student at the Gazi University in Ankara. She participated at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería and won a bronze medal in 800 m with 2:02.68. In the 4×400 metres relay, she won another bronze medal with her teammates Özge Gürler, Birsen Bekgöz and Pınar Saka in 3:40.75 minutes. Pınar Saka
Pınar Saka (born 5 November 1985) is a Turkish female track running athlete in the sprint discipline competing in the categories 100 m, 200 m and 400 m. She is the Turkish national record holder for 400 m. This time is the first time a Turkish woman ran under 52 seconds and also a qualifying mark for Olympics that will be held in London in 2012. She was chosen as Regional Athlete of the Year in Midwest both in 2008 and 2009. Birsen Bekgöz
Birsen Bekgöz (previously known under the married names Birsen Yavuz and Birsen Engin; born October 18, 1980) is a Turkish female track and field athlete competing in sprinting events. She is a member of Enkaspor athletics team. She studied at the Eastern Mediterranean University in Northern Cyprus. She started her sports career in Ankara and became later a member of the club Bursa Nilüfer Belediyespor. During her time at the Near East University in Nicosia, she ran for Northern Cyprus.
