The Ével (; br, Evel) is a long river in the Morbihan ''département'', western France. Its source is near ''la Bottine'', a hamlet in Radenac. It flows generally west-southwest. It is a left tributary of the Blavet into which it flows between Baud and Languidic. Blavet
The Blavet (; br, Blavezh) river flows from central Brittany and enters the Atlantic Ocean on the south coast near Lorient. It is long. The river is canalised for most of its length, forming one of the links in the Brittany canal system. It connects with the Canal de Nantes à Brest at Pontivy and runs to Hennebont, a distance of 60 km. From the last lock at Polvern, the river is tidal and considered as a maritime waterway, giving access to the seaport of Lorient and the Atlantic Ocean. It became more important when the western half of that system was cut off by the construction of the Guerlédan dam and hydropower plant. Today, boats coming from Nantes via Redon have to take the Canal du Blavet in order to reach the ocean near Lorient. The source of the Blavet is east of Bulat-Pestivien, Côtes-d'Armor. Camors
Camors (; br, Kamorzh) is a commune in the Morbihan department of Brittany in north-western France. Geography The village is situated in the heart of a forest-covered region called the Landes de Lanvaux. The village centre is located south of Pontivy, northwest of Vannes, and northeast of Lorient. With the River Tarun, its main tributary, the Ével forms the commune's northern border. The village centre is surrounded by the forest of Floranges and the national forest of Camors. Apart from the village centre, there are the village of Lambel-Camors and the village of Locoal-Camors and several hamlets. Demographics Inhabitants of Camors are called in French ''Camoriens''. Baud, Morbihan
Baud (''Baod'' in Breton) is a commune in the Morbihan département in Brittany in northwestern France. Overview There are many flower beds on the approaches to the town and in the area around the church. The "Town Centre" is the highest point of the town in the area besides the Church. Baud is essentially a market town, a location where the local farmers used to trade their goods for services. Baud is situated on the crossroads of two major roads bisecting Brittany: the North South Road, which links Saint-Brieuc and Saint-Malo on the north coast to the ancient towns of Vannes and Lorient on the south coast, and the East West Road which links Rennes (the capital of Brittany) to Quimper (an old cultural capital). The Quimper Road then continues on to the tip of Brittany at Brest. Baud is the administration centre for a number of small villages in the vicinity.
