Éric Salvail
Éric Salvail (born June 26, 1969) is a Canadian former radio and television personality, producer and host in Quebec. In 2014, he founded "Salvail & Co. Productions". Career Salvail was born in Sorel-Tracy to André Salvail and Colette Paul. The family ran a small convenience store in Sorel-Tracy named ''Chez Salvail''. His father died of Alzheimer's disease in 2006. Salvail studied communications at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). He started work in 1991 at CJSO 101.7 a local radio station in Sorel. He went on to be a host in a number of television shows on Radio-Canada like ''Moi et l'autre'', ''Chabada'', ''Le Poing J'' and ''La Petite Vie''. In 1999, he co-hosted shows like ''Occupation Double'' on TVA before landing as host in ''Star Académie'' in 2003 also on TVA. Sorel-Tracy
Sorel-Tracy (; ) is a city in southwestern Quebec, Canada and the geographical end point of the Champlain Valley. It is located at the confluence of the Richelieu River and the St. Lawrence River, on the western edge of Lac Saint-Pierre, downstream and northeast of Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 34,600. Its mayor is Patrick Péloquin and it is the seat of the Pierre-De Saurel Regional County Municipality and the judicial district of Richelieu. The city is the result of a voluntary amalgamation in 2001 between two cities, Sorel and Tracy, which developed on opposite shores of the Richelieu River: Tracy on the west shore (left) and Sorel on the east (right) shore. In 1992 Sorel had annexed the municipality of Saint-Pierre-de-Sorel; today it forms the southern part of its territory. Sorel was founded in 1642. Énergie is a Canadian radio network of French-language mainstream rock outlets broadcasting throughout the province of Quebec and portions of eastern Ontario, in Eastern Canada. They offer a personality-driven mix of francophone and anglophone classic rock and alternative rock songs, catering to a young adult audience. Although the flagship station is CKMF-FM Montreal, the 10 stations in the network usually have their own talent and format for each of their own markets. They are owned by Bell Media. ''Lip Sync Battle'' is an American musical reality competition television series that premiered on April 2, 2015, on the American cable network Spike, later known as Paramount Network. The show is based on an idea by Stephen Merchant and John Krasinski, in which celebrities battle each other with lip sync performances. ''Thank God You're Here'' is an Australian television improvised comedy program created by Working Dog Productions, which premiered on Network Ten on 5 April 2006, and aired for the first three seasons and on Seven for the fourth season. Each episode involves performers walking through a door into an unknown situation, greeted by the line "Thank God you're here!". They then had to improvise their way through the scene. At the end of each episode a winner was announced. It was the most successful new show in Australia of 2006, attracting an average of 1.7 million viewers after the first few episodes.
