ﾃ］gel Lizcano Monedero y Esteban (24 November 1846 – 31 July 1929) was a Spanish painter and illustrator. He specialized in Costumbrista and historical scenes. Biography Monedero was born in Alcﾃ｡zar de San Juan (Castile-La Mancha). When he was seven, his family moved to Madrid to open a bookstore. At the age of fourteen, he began his art studies at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, where he graduated with honors. Cﾃｭrculo De Bellas Artes
The Cﾃｭrculo de Bellas Artes is a private, non-profit, cultural organization that was founded in 1880. Its building, located in Madrid, Spain, was declared ''Bien de Interﾃｩs Cultural'' in 1981. The CBA is a major multidisciplinary centre with one of the most active cultural programmes in Madrid. It has exhibition rooms, a cinema, a theatre, concert halls, lecture halls, artists窶 workshops, a library, a cafeteria, a shop and many other facilities. El Liberal
''El Liberal'' was a Spanish liberal newspaper published in Madrid between 1879 and 1936. It was one of the leading papers of Spain under the Restoration. Between 1890 and 1906, ''El Liberal'' was edited by Miguel Moya (1856窶1920), a leading Spanish journalist who would go on to preside the holding company and to found the Asociaciﾃｳn de la Prensa de Madrid, which he would also preside from 1895 to 1920. In 1901, its holding group, Sociedad Editorial de Espaﾃｱa, also known as "Grupo El Liberal" or the "Trust", decided to publish specific editions for Barcelona, Sevilla y Bilbao.
