The welcome parade or health trail or corredor polonês is a form of running the gauntlet used against new prisoners in some countries, including Poland in the twentieth century during the Polish People's Republic (communist period), and Egypt and Belarus in the twenty-first century. 2019 Egyptian Protests
The 2019 Egyptian protests were mass protests in Cairo, Alexandria, Damietta and other cities on 20, 21 and 27 September 2019 in which the protestors called for President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to be removed from power. The 2020–2021 Belarusian protests were a series of mass political demonstrations and protests against the Belarusian government and President Alexander Lukashenko.
