VMix
vMix is a software vision mixer available for the Windows operating system. The software is developed by StudioCoast PTY LTD. Like most vision mixing software, it allows users to switch inputs, mix audio, record outputs, and live stream cameras, videos files, audio, and more, in resolutions of up to 4K. The software is also capable of serving image magnification (IMAG) and projection needs in many instances, with various configurable external output and display options. vMix is available in multiple editions ranging in price and available features. Current editions include Basic, Basic HD, SD, HD, 4K, and Pro. HTTP Live Streaming (also known as HLS) is an HTTP-based adaptive bitrate streaming communications protocol developed by Apple Inc. and released in 2009. Support for the protocol is widespread in media players, web browsers, mobile devices, and streaming media servers. Secure Reliable Transport
Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) is an open source video transport protocol that utilises the User Datagram Protocol, UDP transport protocol. Overview SRT provides connection and control, reliable transmission similar to Transmission Control Protocol, TCP; however, it does so at the application layer, using User Datagram Protocol, UDP protocol as an underlying transport layer. It supports packet recovery while maintaining low latency (default: 120 ms). SRT also supports encryption using Advanced Encryption Standard, AES. The protocol was derived from the UDP-based Data Transfer Protocol, UDT project, which was designed for fast file transmission.
