Abel Makkonen Tesfaye (born February 16, 1990), known professionally as the Weeknd, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. Known for his sonic versatility and dark lyricism, his music explores escapism, romance, and melancholia, and is often inspired by personal experiences. Lollapalooza Chile is the Chile-based version of the popular music festival Lollapalooza (). It is held in Santiago, Chile. History The annual festival launched in April 2011 in Santiago’s O'Higgins Park and features alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock and hip-hop bands from both Chile and abroad.
