The Wanted
The Wanted are a British-Irish boy band consisting of group members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes and, until his death in 2022, Tom Parker. The group was formed in 2009 and signed a worldwide contract to Universal Music, Island Records and Mercury Records, and was managed by Scooter Braun. The Wanted's released their debut album, '' The Wanted'' in 2010. It peaked at number four on the UK Albums Chart. and spawned three UK top 20 singles: their debut single, " All Time Low", which topped UK Singles Chart, "Heart Vacancy", which reached number two, and " Lose My Mind", which reached number nineteen. Their follow-up album '' Battleground,'' was released in 2011 and reached number five in the UK and number four in Ireland. Max George
Maximillian Albert George (born 6 September 1988) is an English singer, best known as the lead singer of the boy band The Wanted. George started his career as a footballer, playing for Preston North End. After an injury ended his football career, he decided to pursue a music career. George made his singing debut with the band Avenue. After the group disbanded in 2009, George joined the newly formed band, The Wanted. In 2014, following The Wanted's success in the United States, he landed his first acting role in the sixth season of the American television series '' Glee'' in the role of Clint, the leader of "Vocal Adrenaline". Tom Parker (singer)
Thomas Anthony Parker (4 August 1988 – 30 March 2022) was an English singer, widely known as a member of the boy band the Wanted. In 2013, Parker appeared with his bandmates in the E! channel reality television series '' The Wanted Life''. Alongside the Wanted, Parker released three studio albums and achieved two number one singles on the UK Singles Chart. After the band's hiatus in 2014, he embarked on a solo career. In October 2020, at the age of 32, Parker was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. The Wanted reunited in September 2021, but after a sudden deterioration in his condition, Parker died on 30 March 2022, at the age of 33. ''Sommarkrysset'' (; "The Summer Cross") is a Swedish television program that is broadcast live from the Gröna Lund amusement park in Stockholm during the summer. It was first shown on 3 June 2005.
