The Beautiful Girls
The Beautiful Girls are an Australian roots music group founded in Sydney in 2001 by Mat McHugh, Clay MacDonald, and Mitchell Connelly. They have released three extended plays, '' Morning Sun'' (2002), ''Goodtimes'' (2002), and '' The Weight of the World'' (2004), plus five studio albums, '' Learn Yourself'' (2003), '' We're Already Gone'' (2005), ''Ziggurats'' (2007), '' Spooks'' (2010), and '' Dancehall Days'' (2014). The last four albums have all peaked into the top 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart. ''Spooks'' and ''Dancehall Days'' also debuted at No. 1 on the Australian Independent Chart and No. 7&5 on the American '' Billboard '' Reggae Albums Chart, respectively. Ian Mussington (born May 30, 1967) is a musician, session drummer and percussionist. He was the former drummer for the Minneapolis band Soul Asylum from 1998–2001. Soul Asylum
Soul Asylum is an American alternative rock band formed in 1981 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Their 1993 hit "Runaway Train (Soul Asylum song), Runaway Train" won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song. The band was originally called Loud Fast Rules, with a lineup consisting of Dave Pirner, Dan Murphy (musician), Dan Murphy, Karl Mueller (rock musician), Karl Mueller, and Pat Morley. They changed their name to Soul Asylum in 1983. Morley was replaced by Grant Young (musician), Grant Young in 1984. Mason Jennings is an American folk-pop singer-songwriter. Biography Born in Hawaii, Jennings moved with his family to Pittsburgh at an early age. Jennings learned to play guitar at the age of 13, when he began writing songs. Jennings later dropped out of school and moved to Minneapolis to pursue his musical career.
