Tinder is an online dating application, online dating and geosocial networking application. Tinder uses a "double opt-in" system where both users must like each other before they can exchange messages. Catfishing is a deceptive activity in which a person creates a fictional persona or fake identity on a social networking service, usually targeting a specific victim. The practice may be used for financial gain, to compromise a victim in some way, as a way to intentionally upset a victim, or for wish fulfillment. Catfishing television shows have been produced, often featuring victims who wish to identify their catfisher. A panic alarm is an electronic device that can easily be activated to request help during an emergency situation where danger to persons or property exists.
