The Relationship
The Relationship was an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States, founded in 2007 by Weezer guitarist Brian Bell and Nate Shaw. In 2010, Bell released the first Relationship album and has since performed and recorded with a revolving cast of players and collaborators. The band's 2015 single, "Oh Allen" (Burger Records), garnered praise from ''Billboard'', ''Entertainment Weekly'', ''Alternative Press'', and ''Rolling Stone''. That year, the band also landed coveted spots at Burgerama 4 and the Sundance Film Festival. In 2019, Bell stated that he had stopped pursuing The Relationship in the past year and that any of his future musical endeavors outside of Weezer would be entirely new, including the name. Sean Lennon
is an American–British musician, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. He is the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and half-brother to Julian Lennon. ''The Relationship'' is the debut, self-titled album by the American alternative rock band The Relationship, released on November 30, 2010 through Golden State Records. The album was recorded in the home studio of lead singer and guitarist Brian Bell, who is also a guitarist for the acclaimed rock band Weezer. Background News regarding a side project by Weezer guitarist Brian Bell began circulating in 2007 on the official Weezer message board. Since this time, many demos and adjusted versions of songs have been posted on the band's Myspace and Facebook pages. In 2008, the band opened for Weezer during several dates of their Troublemaker Tour. In Fall 2010, The album was announced as completed and given a release date of November 30, 2010. ''Weezer'' (also known as the ''Red Album'') is the sixth studio album and album by the American rock band Weezer, released on June 3, 2008, by DGC and Interscope Records. Rick Rubin and Jacknife Lee both produced parts of the album, with the band producing a handful of tracks themselves. Like their 1994 debut, other band members contributed to songwriting. This is the first and, so far, the only Weezer album to feature lead vocals from all four band members. Rivers Cuomo
Rivers Cuomo ( ; born June 13, 1970) is an American musician. He is the lead vocalist, guitarist, pianist, and songwriter of the rock band Weezer. Cuomo was raised in a number of Buddhist communities in the Northeast U.S. until the age of 10, when his family settled in Central Connecticut. He attended a number of public schools before moving to Los Angeles at age 18. Cuomo played in several bands in Connecticut and California before forming Weezer in 1992. Multitrack recording (MTR), also known as multitracking or tracking, is a method of sound recording developed in 1955 that allows for the separate recording of multiple sound sources or of sound sources recorded at different times to create a cohesive whole.
