Pandemonium! (video Game)
''Pandemonium!'' is a 1996 platform video game developed by Toys for Bob and published by Crystal Dynamics for the PlayStation, Sega Saturn, Microsoft Windows, N-Gage, mobile and iOS. ''Pandemonium!'' features Fargus, a joker, and Nikki, a sorceress, who unwittingly casts a spell that destroys the town. The goal of the game is to reach the Wishing Engine, where they can wish the town back to normal. For each level, the player can choose which character to be. Each has a special move – Fargus can deliver a special spinning attack, and Nikki can double jump. The game consists of a great variety of unique gameplay objects, such as watermelons, clouds, spider webs and logs. A sequel, ''Pandemonium 2'' (''Miracle Jumpers'' in Japan), was released in 1997 for PlayStation and Microsoft Windows. ''Pandemonium'' is a 2012 dystopian young adult novel written by Lauren Oliver and the second novel in her ''Delirium (Lauren Oliver novel), Delirium'' trilogy. The book was first published on February 28, 2012 through HarperTeen and follows the series' protagonist as she explores the Wilds outside the walled community she was raised in. The book was preceded by a novella entitled ''Hana'' and was succeeded by ''Requiem'', the final book in the series. Plot The book follows up the events of ''Delirium''. Lena is now in the Wilds alone, and the sequel begins by switching the chapters from the present "now" and the past "then" point of view of Lena until they are joined together in Chapter 13. Pandemonium was an American hard rock/ heavy metal band from Fairbanks, Alaska, United States, that moved to Los Angeles, in the early 1980s. The band released three albums on Metal Blade Records, and was featured on the first ''Metal Massacre'' record with Metallica, Ratt, and Steeler. Lead singer Chris Resch died of a heart attack in 2007.
