Mark Stanford Oldman (born January 5, 1969) is an American entrepreneur, wine expert, and author of several books on wine. He has been described as "one of the wine world's great populizers" and "one of the wine world's great showmen." He regularly appears at food and wine festivals as well as corporations and institutions, and teaches a course on entrepreneurship for Stanford University. William Ockelford Oldman
William Ockleford Oldman (24 August 1879 – 30 June 1949) was a British collector and dealer of ethnographic art and European arms and armour. His business ''W.O. Oldman, Ethnographical Specimens, London'' was mostly active between the late 1890s and 1913. Oldman purchased collections from various sources including items that were considered surplus from many small British museums. He produced a series of auction catalogues between 1901 and 1913 that were well illustrated with photographs and remain an important reference for collectors, subject experts and museums to this day. In addition to holding auctions he also reserved items for possible sale to private collectors and scholars. He maintained frequent correspondence with his network of collectors and he was often visited by museum professionals and scholars from institutions around the world. Oldman River
The Oldman River is a river in southern Alberta, Canada. It flows roughly west to east from the Rocky Mountains, through the communities of Fort Macleod, Lethbridge, and on to Grassy Lake, where it joins the Bow River to form the South Saskatchewan River, which eventually drains into the Hudson Bay. Hugh Oldman
Colonel Sir Hugh Richard Deare Oldman KBE, MC (24 June 1914 – 26 November 1988) was a British Army officer who later served as Secretary for Defence of the Sultanate of Oman. He was one of the major participants in the ''coup d'état'' in July 1970 that brought Sultan Qaboos to the throne of Oman. He also played first-class cricket in Pakistan. Oldman Formation
The Oldman Formation is a stratigraphic unit of Late Cretaceous (Campanian stage) age that underlies much of southern Alberta, Canada. It consists primarily of sandstones that were deposited in fluvial channel and floodplain environments. Kurt Oldman is a Swiss born composer of music for television and film. Early life and career Oldman was born in Switzerland to parents who were both musicians. His father attended the Conservatory of Music in Fribourg. His grandfather and great-grandfather were also classical musicians. Major-General Richard Deare Furley Oldman (31 June 1877 – 1943) was a British Army officer. Military career Educated at Haileybury, Oldman was commissioned into the Norfolk Regiment on 20 February 1897. He saw action in operations in Northern Nigeria in 1903 and 1904 for which he was appointed a Companion of the Distinguished Service Order.
