Ken Samaras (, ; born 3 April 1990), better known by his stage name Nekfeu (), is a French rapper, actor and record producer. He is also a member of the bands L'entourage and 1995. He started his career as a member of $-Crew, with childhood friends Framal, Mekra, 2zer Washington and DJ Elite. He joined 1995 in 2007, participating in open mic duels around Paris. Early life and career Samaras was born in La Trinité, a commune within the Nice metropolitan area, to a father of Greek descent and a mother of Scottish descent. At the age of 11, he and his family moved to the 15th arrondissement of Paris. ''Feu'' () is the debut studio album by French hip hop artist Nekfeu. It was released on 8 June 2015 by Seine Zoo, Polydor Records and Universal Music Group in France. A re-release of the album, entitled ''Feu (Réédition)'', was released on 4 December 2015. Entering (and peaking) the French Albums Chart at number 3 in its first week, the album was certified gold in its third week with over 47,000 copies sold. ''Cyborg'' is the second studio album by French hip hop artist Nekfeu. Released on December 2, 2016 by Seine Zoo, the album entered the French Albums Chart at number 3, peaking at number 1. 1995 is a French rap group founded in 2008 in the southern part of Paris as P.O.S. The name was changed to "1995" in 2010 in reference to the year 1995, considered a "golden year" for French rap. The six-member group is composed of 5 rappers and one producer all coming from the 14th and 15th arrondissements in Paris. 1995 are influenced by the spontaneous and positive vibes from the 1990 French rap. The band name is pronounced in various formats like "Mille neuf cent quatre vingt quinze" or "Dix neuf quatre vingt quinze" or "un, neuf, neuf, cinq" () or "un, double neuf, cinq" (). L'entourage
L'entourage () is a French hip hop crew composed of several bands and solo artists founded in 2008. The members emanated from the battle-rap contest Rap Contenders as well as support of many artists and bands. The collective's first studio album ''"Jeunes Entrepreneurs"'' was launched by Believe Recordings on 26 May 2014 with a premier concert at the Paris Olympia on 14 June 2014 with all members of the collective on stage.
