myTomorrows is the trade name of Impatients N.V., a globally active healthcare company. The company is based in the Zuidas, Amsterdam, Netherlands. myTomorrows provides patients with unmet medical needs, and their doctors, information about treatment options worldwide and facilitates access to medicines in development. Access to these medicines can be achieved via clinical trials, expanded access and off-label use. myTomorrows was founded in 2012 by Ronald Brus, former CEO of the biotechnology company Crucell. In the beginning of its existence, myTomorrows has been characterized as ''innovative'' and ''controversial''. In May 2013, MP Lea Bouwmeester asked parliamentary question about the company. Expanded access or compassionate use is the use of an unapproved drug or medical device under special forms of investigational new drug applications (IND) or IDE application for devices, outside of a clinical trial, by people with serious or life-threatening conditions who do not meet the enrollment criteria for the clinical trial in progress. These programs go under various names, including early access, special access, or managed access program, compassionate use, compassionate access, named-patient access, temporary authorization for use, cohort access, and pre-approval access. Clinical trials are prospective biomedical or behavioral research studies on human participants designed to answer specific questions about biomedical or behavioral interventions, including new treatments (such as novel vaccines, drugs, dietary choices, dietary supplements, and medical devices) and known interventions that warrant further study and comparison. Question Time
A question time in a parliament occurs when members of the parliament ask questions of government ministers (including the prime minister), which they are obliged to answer. It usually occurs daily while parliament is sitting, though it can be cancelled in exceptional circumstances. Lea Theodora Bouwmeester (born 3 October 1979 in Hoogeveen) is a Dutch politician and former civil servant and social counselor. Off-label use is the use of pharmaceutical drugs for an unapproved indication (medicine), indication or in an unapproved age group, dose (biochemistry), dosage, or route of administration.
