Célestin Lainé (1908–1983) was a Breton nationalist and collaborator during the Second World War who led the SS affiliated Bezen Perrot militia. His Breton language name is Neven Hénaff. He was a chemical engineer by training. After the war he moved to Ireland. Breton nationalism He was born in 1908 in Nantes and was brought up in Ploudalmézeau, Finistère. He later entered the École Centrale. He became closely linked to Guillaume Berthou, a fellow chemist and Breton separatist. Contrary to myth, he denied any involvement with the secret society ''Kentoc'h Mervel'' (Sooner Death), formed by Berthou in 1929, though Berthou had approached him to join. Instead, in 1930 he set up with Hervé Helloco the paramilitary organisation, Gwenn ha du ('white and black'). Jarkko Laine (17 March 1947 – 19 August 2006) was a Finnish poet and a writer of prose and plays. He also translated American literature to Finnish. Jarkko Laine was born in Turku, Finland. He became known from the 1960s underground movement, deriving inspiration from popular culture, pop music and comics. He provided some lyrics for the band Suomen Talvisota 1939–1940, and for popular singer Rauli Badding Somerjoki he wrote such song lyrics as 'Bensaa suonissa', 'Hymyile Miss Universum' and 'Pilvet karkaa, niin minäkin' (the latter being the title song of Aki Kaurismäki's film ''Drifting Clouds''). Erkki Juhani Laine (13 September 1957 – 22 August 2009) was a Finnish professional ice hockey forward. A two time Olympian, he won a silver medal with the Finnish national team at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. He is the Lahti Pelicans franchise top all-time career point earner and goal scorer. Playing career As a child, Erkki Laine began playing ice hockey with the youth department of Kiekkoreipas in his hometown of Lahti. The first full season of his professional career was spent with the senior men’s representative team of Kiekkoreipas in the 1975–76 I-divisioona season.
