Idol Memories
is a Japanese idol anime television series produced by Seven Arcs Pictures and Happy Elements. It is a "hybrid anime", where the first half of the show is a typical animation and the second half is a live-action segment featuring the anime's voice actresses. Katsuya Kikuchi directed the anime with scripts written by Hiroshi Oonogi, and I've Sound produced the music. Idol Memories debuted on October 3, 2016 on Tokyo MX with further airings on AT-X. Seven Arcs
is a Japanese anime production company and former studio, established on May 31, 2002, by former Pierrot staff. The studio made its first animated television series, '' Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha'', in 2004. Since then, the company has produced a number of other animated television series and movies. In 2012, the animation section was split off by forming as a subsidiary company. Since then, Seven Arcs has had its business in animation planning and licence management. On December 26, 2017, the company was acquired by Tokyo Broadcasting System. Seven Arcs Pictures, Seven Arcs, and Arcturus merged on October 1, 2019, reforming as the single company Seven Arcs.
