IHQ (company)
iHQ Inc., doing business as SidusHQ () is one of the leading talent management agencies in South Korea. It was founded in January 2001 by Teddy Hoon-tak Jung. The company is involved in talent management (artist content), and TV drama/music production. History iHQ, or SidusHQ, is the successor of EBM, an entertainment company founded by producer Teddy Hoon-tak Jung ( ko) in 1997. In 2000 EBM merged with production company Uno Films to become a new entertainment company, Sidus. At this time, Sidus was known as the management company of popular K-pop group g.o.d (as part of a cooperation with music producer and songwriter Park Jin-young of JYP Entertainment) and rising young actors and actresses such as Jang Hyuk, Cha Tae-hyun and Jun Ji-hyun. By 2002 the production and talent management divisions had separated; the production division is now known as Sidus Pictures while the talent management division became iHQ (also known as SidusHQ). Lim Seul-ong (Hangul: 임슬옹; born 11 May 1987), also known by the mononym Seulong, is a South Korean singer and actor. He debuted as a singer in 2008 as a member of the K-pop boyband 2AM. He made his acting debut in 2010 in the Korean drama, '' Personal Taste.'' Early life and education Lim began studying film and acting at Daejin University's Department of Theatre and Visual Arts in 2010. 2AM member Jeong Jinwoon is also an alumnus of the university. It was their first release since going on hiatus in December 2005. Overview The song is categorized as a ballad and was written and composed by Duble Sidekick, with the rap composed by Danny Ahn. ''Billboard'' describes the song as having "classic boy band harmonies with modern-day electronic elements for a hit that boasts a hint of nostalgia for old-school fans". 2Eyes (), stylized as 2EYES, was a South Korean girl group formed by SidusHQ. They made their debut in 2013 as a five-member group and consisted of Hyangsuk, Hyerin, Dasom, Daeun and Yeonjun. Following Yeonjun's departure, the group continues to promote as a four-member group. History Pre-debut 2Eyes was formed by SidusHQ with Hyun Jin-young as their producer. A maxi single or maxi-single (sometimes abbreviated to MCD or CDM) is a music single release with more than the usual two tracks of an A-side song and a B-side song. The first maxi singles Mungo Jerry's first single, "In the Summertime" was the first maxi single in the world. The term came into wide use in the 1970s, where it usually referred to 7-inch vinyl singles featuring one track on the A-side and two on the B-side. The 1975 reissue of David Bowie's "Space Oddity", where the featured song is coupled with "Changes" and "Velvet Goldmine", is a typical example. "Joah" is a song by Korean–American recording artist Jay Park, released on April 10, 2013, worldwide on iTunes and domestically in Korea as a three-track digital single of the same name. The other songs on the single are "1 Hunnit", and "Welcome". The lyrics are written by Park, and the song was produced by fellow Art of Movement member, Cha Cha Malone. In Korean, "Joah" translates literally to "like" ( ko, 좋아; Revised Romanization: ''Joha''), or in context of the song, "I like you". Jay Park ( Korean name: Park Jae-beom (Hangul: 박재범; Hanja: 朴載範); born April 25, 1987) is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer and entrepreneur of based in South Korea. He is a member of the Seattle-based b-boy crew Art of Movement (AOM), and founder and former CEO of the independent hip hop record labels AOMG and H1ghr Music, as well as the founder of the record label More Vision. Park initially rose to fame as the leader of South Korean boy band 2PM, formed by record label JYP Entertainment in 2008, after having previously been a trainee for four years.
