Isner
John Robert Isner (born April 26, 1985) is an American professional tennis player. He has been ATP rankings, ranked as high as world No. 8 in singles and No. 14 in doubles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Considered one of the best servers ever to play on the ATP Tour, Isner achieved his career-high singles ranking in July 2018 by virtue of his maiden ATP World Tour Masters 1000, Masters 1000 crown at the 2018 Miami Open – Men's singles, 2018 Miami Open and a semifinal appearance at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships – Men's singles, 2018 Wimbledon Championships. He has also twice reached the quarterfinals at the US Open (tennis), US Open in 2011 US Open – Men's singles, 2011 and 2018 US Open – Men's singles, 2018, the latter of which helped qualify him for an ATP Finals appearance later that year. The Georgia Bulldogs are the athletic teams that represent the University of Georgia. The female athletic teams are sometimes referred to as Lady Bulldogs. The Bulldogs compete in NCAA Division I and are members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The official mascot is an English Bulldog named Uga, (derived from an abbreviation of the ''University of Georgia''), while the costumed character version of Uga is Hairy Dawg. The university sponsors nineteen sports – baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, women's equestrian, football, men's and women's golf, women's gymnastics, women's soccer, softball, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track, and women's volleyball.
