Han Sang-hyuk ( born July 5, 1995), better known by his stage name Hyuk (), is a South Korean singer and actor. Hyuk debuted as a member of the South Korean boy group VIXX in May 2012, and began his acting career in 2016 in the comedy-action film '' Chasing'' as Han Won-tae. Oh Hyuk (Hangul: 오혁, stylised OHHYUK, born October 5, 1993) is a South Korean singer and musician best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter of indie rock band Hyukoh. Background Born in South Korea, Oh moved to China when he was five months old with his parents, who were both teachers. His family lived in Yanji, Shenyang, and settled in Beijing. As a result, he speaks Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and English. In an effort to convince his parents to allow him to pursue music, Oh auditioned for South Korea's three biggest music agencies, S.M. Hyuk Shin (Hangul: 신혁; born June 5, 1985) is a South Korean record producer and singer-songwriter. His team, A-Rex, created the song "One Less Lonely Girl" for Justin Bieber in 2009. He has worked with many major artists in K-pop, including GFriend, Exo, Shinee, DEAN, Oh My Girl, Girls' Generation, Monsta X, NCT, Got7 and SF9, among others. An Hyuk (born 1968) is a North Korean defector. Escape from North Korea He formerly lived as an expatriate in China, and repatriated to North Korea in 1986; however, he was accused of spying, and imprisoned at the Yodok concentration camp. He was released in 1989 alongside Kang Chol-Hwan, whom he met while interned at Yodok. The two became friends and had found interest in foreign broadcasting. He was quite interested in outside information and eventually got involved in anti-government activity. He was later identified and watched by the government; fearing he would be sent back to the concentration camp, he planned his escape. In 1992, he and Kang escaped from North Korea by crossing the Yalu River into China. The hardest challenge for them was getting on the train to the border of China undetected.
