Greyson Gregory Gilmer (born November 23, 1996), better known by his in-game name Goldenglue, is an American ''League of Legends'' coach and former professional player. He is currently the head coach of 100 Thieves Academy. Early life Gilmer was raised in the town of Flower Mound, Texas. As a teenager he played varsity football for Edward S. Marcus High School. After receiving an offer from NA LCS team Dignitas in March 2014, Gilmer decided to quit football and focus on a career in professional esports. Career Dignitas signed Greyson "Goldenglue" Gilmer in March 2014 to replace their long-time mid laner William "Scarra" Li, who had agreed to transition to a coaching role. However, two weeks later Goldenglue was benched and Scarra was brought back to the mid lane; Goldenglue left the team shortly thereafter. 2020 LCS Season
The 2020 LCS season was the third year under partnership and eighth overall of the ''League of Legends'' Championship Series (LCS), a professional esports league for the MOBA PC game ''League of Legends''. It was the first year that the league used a double elimination bracket for its playoff format. Championship points and the regional finals were also removed from the World Championship qualification process. The spring split began on January 25 and was scheduled to conclude with the spring finals on April 19; however, due to the spread of COVID-19 in the United States, the season was temporarily suspended on March 13. The ''League of Legends'' division of Cloud9 (C9) is a gaming team based in Los Angeles, California, and competes in the League Championship Series (LCS), the top-level professional league for video game ''League of Legends'' in the United States and Canada. The 2018 NA LCS season was the first year under partnership and sixth overall of the North American ''League of Legends'' Championship Series (NA LCS), a professional esports league for the MOBA PC game ''League of Legends''. It was divided into spring and summer splits, each consisting of a regular season and playoff stage. The top six teams from the regular season advanced to the playoff stage, with the top two teams receiving a bye to the semifinals.
