Goodbyemotel (stylised as goodbyemotel) is a rock band formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2008. They are currently based out of Brooklyn, New York. The band attracted attention after live performances at several CMJ music festivals, and after their music was used on television. Several high profile music industry veterans contributed to the recording of their 2014 album ''If''. goodbyemotel is best known for their "4D Live Music Experience." History The band formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2008 and later moved to Brooklyn, New York. They attracted considerable attention after their song "Set it Off" from their ''People'' EP was featured in a Chrysler Australia advertisement and then went into heavy rotation on several Australian radio stations. Storm Elvin Thorgerson (28 February 1944 – 18 April 2013) was an English graphic designer and music video director. He is best known for closely working with the group Pink Floyd through most of their career, and also created album or other art for Led Zeppelin, Phish, Black Sabbath, UFO, Peter Gabriel, the Alan Parsons Project, Genesis, Yes, Kansas, Dream Theater, Muse, Audioslave, the Mars Volta, The Cranberries, Helloween, Ween and Catherine Wheel. Sigur Rós () is an Icelandic post-rock band from Reykjavík, active since 1994. A scrim is a device used in the film and television industries, as well as by photographers, to modify properties of light. There are variations on types of scrim, depending upon its use, whether with natural light, or with man-made light sources. However, their basic use is the same – to reduce intensity and/or harshness of light. On lights Film and TV productions typically use constant lighting in the studio and on location.
