Martin Bartenstein
Martin Bartenstein (born 3 June 1953) is an Austrian businessman and politician who held different cabinet portfolios between 1995 and 2008. He is a member of the Austrian People's Party. Early life and education Bartenstein was born in Graz on 3 June 1953. He obtained a PhD in chemistry from the University of Graz in 1978. Career Bartenstein started his career at his family's company, Lannacher Heilmittel GmbH, in 1978 and worked there until 1995. He also founded his own firm, Genericon, in 1986. Elisabeth Gehrer
Elisabeth Gehrer (' Pokorny, born 11 May 1942) is an Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). From May 1995 until January 2007, Gehrer was Federal Minister of Education, Science and Culture, at first in grand coalition governments headed by Franz Vranitzky and Viktor Klima (both Social Democratic Party of Austria, SPÖ), and from 2000 onwards in Wolfgang Schüssel's coalition government. From 1999 to 2007, she also served as vice party chairperson of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Monika Forstinger
Monika Forstinger (born 15 July 1963) is an Austrian businesswoman and former politician associated with the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Life Forstinger was born in Schwanenstadt, Upper Austria, in 1963. She studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) and the Johannes Kepler University Linz, graduating in 1988 and finishing a doctorate in 1997. She has one son, born 2005. She became Minister for Transport, Innovation and Technology in the first Schüssel government on 11 November 2000. Wilhelm Molterer (born 14 May 1955 in Steyr) is an Austrian politician who currently serves as the Managing Director of the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI). Between 2011 and 2015 he was the Vice-President and member of the Management Committee of the European Investment Bank (EIB). Before joining the EIB, he was Member of the Austrian Parliament. Herbert Haupt
Herbert Haupt (born 28 September 1947) is an Austrian politician and former party chairman of the Austrian Freedom Party. Born in Seeboden, Carinthia, and a veterinarian by training, he was federal Minister of Social Services from 2000 till 2005 in a coalition government headed by Wolfgang Schüssel. Haupt was Vice Chancellor of Austria from 28 February 2003 until 20 October 2003. He is still a member of the National Council of Austria, now representing the Alliance for the Future of Austria (BZÖ) party founded by Jörg Haider in April 2005.
