Cityterminalen
Cityterminalen is the central bus station of Stockholm. It is situated in the Norrmalm city district, and is connected by a tunnel to the Stockholm Central Station. Most long range bus lines in Stockholm have a stop in Cityterminalen. Construction started on July 3, 1985, and the station opened for traffic on January 20, 1989. The station is adjacent to the Stockholm World Trade Center. Transport in Stockholm consists of roads, buses, metro, commuter rail, Inter-city rail, regional rail, light rail, tram, commuter ferry and an archipelago boat operation in Stockholm County, Sweden. The bus and rail is organized by Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (Stockholm Transport, literally: Greater Stockholm Public Transport), SL, which is owned by the Stockholm County Council. The operation and maintenance of the public transport systems are delegated by SL to several contractors. The archipelago boat traffic is handled by Waxholmsbolaget. The airport rapid public transport systems are handled both privately and by SL, with Flygbussarna providing airport bus services, Arlanda Express providing airport express train service to Arlanda, while SL handles commuter rail and tram services to Arlanda and Bromma Airport respectively, in addition to multiple local buses that serve Arlanda. Stockholm Central Station
Stockholm Central Station ( sv, Stockholms centralstation) is a railway station in Stockholm, Sweden. It is situated in the district of Norrmalm at Vasagatan/Central Plan. The station opened on 18 July 1871 and it had over 200,000 visitors daily, of which about 170,000 were travellers (105,000 with commuter trains, 25,000 with Arlanda Express and 40,000 with other trains), until 10 July 2017 when the local commuter trains started to call at the Stockholm City Station which is located under the central station. T-Centralen
T-Centralen (Swedish for "The T-Central"; T being an abbreviation for "tunnelbana", the Swedish word for "underground" or "subway") is a metro station that forms the heart of the Stockholm metro system, in the sense that it is the only station where all three of the system's lines meet. That, its central location, and its connections with other modes of transport make it the busiest station in the system. The station is located in the Norrmalm borough of Stockholm, between Sergels torg (Sergel's Square) and the street of Vasagatan. On a winter day in 2018, some 340,000 passengers (174,550 boarding and 166,850 alighting) travelled to or from the metro station. Stockholm City Station is a railway station in central Stockholm, Sweden. Opened on 10 July 2017, the station is located on the Stockholm City Line and is located directly below T-Centralen (the hub of the Stockholm Metro) and interchange with Stockholm Central Station. The station serves all Stockholm Commuter Rail trains. It is the busiest railway station in Sweden (not counting the metro). Norrmalm is a city district in Stockholm, Sweden. History Norrmalm is part of the larger borough of Norrmalm (''Norrmalms stadsdelsområde''). The southern part of the district, Lower Norrmalm (''Nedre Norrmalm''), also known as City, constitutes the most central part of Stockholm, while Upper Norrmalm (''Övre Norrmalm'') is more residential.
