A cigar bar (or lounge) is an establishment that caters to patrons who smoke cigars. Many serve food and alcohol as well. The prevalence of cigar bars varies by country; some jurisdictions ban smoking in all businesses, while others offer an exemption for cigar bars. History While cigar bars have been around for years, interest in them developed in the 1990s when cities and government entities began instituting smoking bans but provided exceptions for establishments that catered to smokers. Cigar
A cigar is a rolled bundle of dried and fermented tobacco leaves made to be smoked. Cigars are produced in a variety of sizes and shapes. Since the 20th century, almost all cigars are made of three distinct components: the filler, the binder leaf which holds the filler together, and a wrapper leaf, which is often the highest quality leaf used. Often there will be a cigar band printed with the cigar manufacturer's logo. Google Answers was an online knowledge market offered by Google, online from 2002 to 2006. History Google Answers' predecessor was Google Questions and Answers, which was launched in June 2001. This service involved Google staffers answering questions by e-mail for a flat fee (US$3.00). It was fully functional for about 24 hours, after which it was shut down, possibly due to excessive demand and the tough competition that Yahoo! set in place. Google Answers was launched in April 2002. A month later, a search feature was added. Google Answers came out of beta in May 2003. It received more than 100 question postings per day when the service ended in December 2006. Cuesta-Rey (originally '' 'La flor de Cuesta-Rey' '' and still printed on the box) is a brand of handmade ''cigar'', founded in 1884 by ''Angel LaMadrid Cuesta'' and ''Peregrino Rey''. Cuesta, a Spaniard, had apprenticed in cigar making in Cuba before he met Rey. They formed the company in the Ybor City district of Tampa, Florida to make 'clear Havana' cigars (cigars made in the United States using imported Cuban tobacco). As well as making their own brands they made cigars for other companies such as Nat Sherman. In 1958, ''Karl Cuesta'', Angel's son sold the company to the ''J.C. Comerica Park is a baseball stadium located in Downtown Detroit. It has been the home of Major League Baseball's Detroit Tigers since 2000, when the team left Tiger Stadium.
