Sven Magnus Øen Carlsen (born 30 November 1990) is a Norwegian chess grandmaster who is the reigning five-time World Chess Champion. He is also a three-time World Rapid Chess Champion and five-time World Blitz Chess Champion. Alireza Firouzja ( fa, علیرضا فیروزجا, ; born 18 June 2003) is an Iranian and French chess grandmaster. Firouzja is the youngest ever 2800- rated player, beating the previous record set by Magnus Carlsen by more than five months. A chess prodigy, Firouzja won the Iranian Chess Championship at age 12 and earned the Grandmaster title at 14. Sopiko Guramishvili ( ka, სოფიკო გურამიშვილი; born 1 January 1991) is a Georgian-Dutch chess player, author, and commentator who holds the titles of International Master (IM) and Woman Grandmaster (WGM). Having represented Georgia for the bulk of her playing career, she has been an under-16 girls' World Youth Champion and an under-18 girls' Georgian national champion. Guramishvili has a peak FIDE rating of 2441 and has been ranked as high as No. 42 in the world among women. Guramishvili began playing chess at age five. The company released the mobile app '' Play Magnus'' in 2014, before merging with chess24 in 2019 and being acquired by Chess.com in 2022. David Antón Guijarro (born 23 June 1995) is a Spanish chess grandmaster. He was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE in 2013, at the age of 18. He has competed at two Chess Olympiads. Chess career Antón Guijarro won the Spanish championship eight times in various age groups and formats.
