Chattering Lory
The chattering lory (''Lorius garrulus'') is a forest-dwelling parrot endemic to North Maluku, Indonesia. It is considered vulnerable, the main threat being from trapping for the cage-bird trade. The race ''L. g. flavopalliatus'' is known as the yellow-backed lory. Taxonomy The chattering lory was formally described by the Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus in 1758 in the tenth edition of his ''Systema Naturae'' under the binomial name ''Psittacus garrulus''. The specific epithet ''garrulus'' is Latin and means "chattering", "babbling" or "noisy". Linnaeus cited "The Scarlet Lory" that had been described and illustrated in 1751 by the English naturalist George Edwards in his book ''A Natural History of Uncommon Birds''. Jurong Bird Park
Jurong Bird Park is an aviary and tourist attraction in Jurong, Singapore. The largest such bird park in Asia, it covers an area of on the western slope of Jurong Hill, the highest point in the Jurong region. It is one of the parks managed by Mandai Wildlife Reserve, which are also the managers of Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and River Wonders. In 2016, the Mandai Wildlife Group announced that the Jurong Bird Park would be relocated to a much larger park at Mandai Lake Road by 2020, consolidating with the three existing wildlife parks together with a new Rainforest Park to form an integrated nature and wildlife precinct known as the Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Lorius
''Lorius'' is a genus of lory in the parrot family Psittaculidae. The genus contains six species that are distributed from the Moluccas in Indonesia through New Guinea to the Solomon Islands. They have characteristic red plumage with varying amounts of blue (and in some yellow and white), green wings, and in all but one species a black crown. The bills are orange and the feet are grey. With lengths of up to and average weights of , the members of this genus tend to be the largest of the Loriinae subfamily. , also known as Tono2097, is a Japanese video game sound designer, audio engineer, composer, YouTuber, and musician, and is currently an instructor at HAL Osaka, a vocational school in Osaka, Japan. He is best known for sound design for the ''Resident Evil'' video game series, and his YouTube channel. Utsumi is also one half of the musical duo mT with Tanaka Hit, playing both the keyboard and the band's own creation, the MIDI stick, created from arcade-game controllers. Birdworld is the United Kingdom's largest bird park, covering . It is located in the East Hampshire district, close to the village of Bucks Horn Oak and the surrounding Alice Holt Forest.
