Kate Brousseau
Kate Brousseau (April 24, 1862 – July 8, 1938) was an American professor and researcher on mental hygiene, chair of the Psychology Department at Mills College. Early life Kate Brousseau was born on April 24, 1862, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, daughter of Judge Julius Brousseau (1834–1903), born in New York by French Canadian parents, and Caroline Yakeley (1834–1901), of English and German heritage. Brousseau was the older of four siblings. Brousseau was educated at Los Angeles High School and Los Angeles State Normal school (later University of California, Los Angeles). She was valedictorian of her class, the first graduating from Los Angeles State Normal School in June 1884. She then studied at University of Minnesota, University of California, University of Chicago Law School, in Germany and in Paris. In Paris she was the only woman in a class of 60 students. Alfred Brousseau
Brother Alfred Brousseau, F.S.C. (February 17, 1907 – May 31, 1988), was an educator, photographer and mathematician and was known mostly as a founder of the Fibonacci Association and as an educator. Biography Brother Brousseau was born in North Beach, San Francisco, as one of six children. On August 14, 1920, Brousseau entered the juniorate of the De La Salle Christian Brothers (Brothers of the Christian Schools), a religious institute of teachers in the Roman Catholic Church. He was accepted into the Christian Brothers novitiate on 31 July 1923 and advanced to the scholasticate on the campus of St. Mary's College in Moraga, California, in 1924. Paul M. Brousseau (born September 18, 1973) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward. He played for the Colorado Avalanche, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League, NHL. Playing career Brousseau was selected in the second round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, 28th overall, by the Quebec Nordiques. Jean-Docile Brousseau (February 24, 1825 – July 28, 1908) was a Canadian politician and newspaper owner. He was born in Quebec City in 1825. In 1855, he became the official printer for the archbishopric of Quebec and produced the ''Le Courrier du Canada'', a religious newsletter, from 1857 to 1872. He was also involved in the production of ''Les Soirées canadiennes'', a literary review.
