Bad Girls Club
''Bad Girls Club'' (abbreviated ''BGC'') is an American reality television series created by Jonathan Murray for the Oxygen network in the United States. The show focused on the altercations and physical confrontations of seven aggressive, quarrelsome, and unruly women. They were featured on the show as "charismatic tough chicks." The cast, deemed "bad girls," would enjoy a luxurious lifestyle in a mansion for three months, during which they obeyed specified rules. Their lives inside and outside of the house were recorded by a production team. Besides the United States, ''Bad Girls Club'' aired by at least seven networks in other countries: Sky Living in the United Kingdom and Ireland, MTV in Australia, New Zealand and Russia, RTL 5 in the Netherlands, TV11 in Sweden, SIC Radical in Portugal, Velvet in the Philippines, and Channel in Southeast Asia. Spin-off (media)
In media, a spin-off (or spinoff) is a radio program, television program, film, video game or any narrative work, derived from already existing works that focus on more details and different aspects from the original work (e.g. particular topics, characters or events). One of the earliest spin-offs of the modern media era, if not the first, happened in 1941 when the supporting character Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve from the old time radio comedy show ''Fibber McGee and Molly'' became the star of his own program ''The Great Gildersleeve'' (1941–1957). Channel V
Channel '' ("V" standing for the letter, not the Roman numeral "5") is a Chinese and former Asian pay television musical network originally launched by Star TV Hong Kong (now Fox Networks Group Asia Pacific). It was part of the unit of Disney International Operations, and was launched back in September 1991 to replace the first incarnation of MTV's Asian operation before it was shutdown on October 1, 2021. The Mainland Chinese version is later owned by Star China Media, and is still operational, since they're a subsidiary of China Media Capital. The Australian channels were later owned by Foxtel before their closure. Velvet (TV Channel)
Velvet was a Filipino cable television network based in Quezon City. It was owned and operated by Creative Programs, Inc. (now ABS-CBN Cable Channels), a wholly owned subsidiary of the media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation. The primary focus of the network was into women-oriented general entertainment programming. Channel Information Velvet had a sneak preview on SkyCable channel 25 since November 2007, together with Maxxx and Balls. Velvet was officially launched on January 1, 2008. Velvet also aired selected shows on Studio 23 (now S+A). The channel went off the air at the midnight on January 1, 2014. TV11 (Sweden)
Kanal 11 (formerly TV11 and before that TV400) is a conditional access, entertainment channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA. Its target audience is younger people and it almost solely broadcasts entertainment programmes. The channel was launched in January 2005 to replace the interactive Mediteve channel that occupied the same space. Programming on the channel consists of action and drama series, reality series, movies and comedy. Kanal 11 also features some original programming and programmes connected to shows on TV4, such as Idol. The channel is broadcast by satellite, cable, IPTV and on the digital terrestrial network. RTL 5 is a Dutch free-to-cable television channel that was launched on 2 October 1993. Sky Witness is a British pay television tv channel, channel owned and operated by Sky Limited, Sky, a division of Comcast. A production team is the group of technical staff who produce a play, television show, recording, or film.
