In mathematics, a derivation is a function on an algebra which generalizes certain features of the derivative operator. Specifically, given an algebra ''A'' over a ring or a field ''K'', a ''K''-derivation is a ''K''-linear map that satisfies Leibniz's law: : D(ab) = a D(b) + D(a) b. More generally, if ''M'' is an ''A''-bimodule, a ''K''-linear map that satisfies the Leibniz law is also called a derivation. Differential Form
In mathematics, differential forms provide a unified approach to define integrands over curves, surfaces, solids, and higher-dimensional manifolds. The modern notion of differential forms was pioneered by Élie Cartan. It has many applications, especially in geometry, topology and physics. On a differentiable manifold, the exterior derivative extends the concept of the differential of a function to differential forms of higher degree. Lie Derivative
In differential geometry, the Lie derivative ( ), named after Sophus Lie by Władysław Ślebodziński, evaluates the change of a tensor field (including scalar functions, vector fields and one-forms), along the flow defined by another vector field. This change is coordinate invariant and therefore the Lie derivative is defined on any differentiable manifold. In mathematics and theoretical physics, a superalgebra is a Z2-graded algebra. That is, it is an algebra over a commutative ring or field with a decomposition into "even" and "odd" pieces and a multiplication operator that respects the grading.
