Avalanch is a Spanish heavy metal band formed in Asturias in 1993. Led by composer, producer and guitar player Alberto Rionda, the band has released nine studio albums, plus a handful of compilations, DVDs and English versions of their works. Biography Spanish band Avalanch combines power metal and progressive metal with elements of hard rock, pop and folk. Their albums are published in several European and American countries, and they mostly tour in Latin America. Víctor García (Spanish Singer)
Víctor García (born 5 June 1970 in Brisbane, Australia) is the lead vocalist and songwriter for the heavy metal band WarCry. He is the central figure and sole original member of WarCry and a former Avalanch lead vocalist, being considered one of the best Spanish metal singers. García has often cited that his biggest and most important influences are Stryper, Manowar, and Virgin Steele. Biography Early days Víctor García discovered his passion for metal music around 1987, after listening to Europe's '' Final Countdown'', and some other bands like Bon Jovi. Ramón Lage
Ramón Lage (born 9 June 1973 in Oviedo, Asturias, Spain) is a Spanish musician, best known for his work as vocalist of power/progressive metal band Avalanch. Career Lage started his musical career in the 90's with the band Arkaes as lead singer and guitarist. Later, he was recruited as a singer for the band Paco Jones with which he recorded the album "Invisible" in 1999. In early 2002 he became the lead vocalist of Avalanch, having already worked with them in the past as a roadie and background vocalist. Ramón showed an interest in singing from a very early age, but professionally started when he joined Avalanch, which led him to perform multiple tours in Spain and all around the world. Magnus Rosén
Klas Magnus Rosén is a Swedish musician, born 1963 in Gothenburg. He was the bassist of Swedish band HammerFall from 1997 to 2007. Magnus Rosén started to play bass when he was 15 years old. after playing bass for three years he went on his first tour with the band Kung Sune. After the tour he moved to Los Angeles, where he played in many bands. Returning to Sweden he joined Billionaires Boys Club, where his future HammerFall bandmate, Anders Johansson, played drums. Mike Terrana (born January 21, 1960) is an American hard rock and heavy metal drummer. His first professional work was in 1984 with the MCA band Hanover Fist from Toronto, Canada, after which he recorded and toured with other bands, playing many styles of music in western New York state. Roberto García (bassist)
Roberto García (born 13 August 1972 in Oviedo, Spain) is the bassist for the power metal band WarCry, also known for his work on Avalanch. History García's interest in music started around the age of five. The Spanish guitar, as well as the keyboard, were the instruments he first learned to play. Although his education was centered on classic authors, Roberto had been very interested since his adolescence in bands such as Metallica, Accept and Judas Priest. In 1997, García asked his friend Alberto Rionda, from Avalanch, to give him guitar classes, and in that manner he became part of the band. Dirk Schlächter
Dirk Schlächter (born 15 February 1965, in Bad Nauheim, Germany) is the bassist of the power metal band Gamma Ray and Avalanch from 2018. History Dirk got in touch with music for the first time joining a music school at the age of 8. At the age of 11 he got his first acoustic guitar followed by an electric guitar at the age of 15. He is working on a new Alternative metal, alternative/power metal band called Sauze (band), Sauze that he formed with Manuel Ramil, Fernando Mon, and Toni Amboaje. Fernando (born 12 December 1976 in Oviedo, Spain) is a member of the Asturian power metal band WarCry. He is working on a new alternative/power metal band called Sauze formed by himself, along with Manuel Ramil, Alberto Ardines, and Toni Amboaje.
