Debris
Debris (, ) is rubble, wreckage, ruins, litter and discarded garbage/refuse/trash, scattered remains of something destroyed, or, as in geology, large rock fragments left by a melting glacier, etc. Depending on context, ''debris'' can refer to a number of different things. The first apparent use of the French word in English is in a 1701 description of the army of Prince Rupert upon its retreat from a battle with the army of Oliver Cromwell, in England. ''Wreckage'' is the debut full-length studio album by British DJ/producer Robert Howes a.k.a. Overseer. It was released on 26 August 2003 via Columbia Records. Most of its tracks have been featured in advertisements, films, video games, trailers and television shows. Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara; 5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991) was a British singer and songwriter, who achieved worldwide fame as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. Regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock music, he was known for his flamboyant stage persona and four- octave vocal range. Mercury defied the conventions of a rock frontman with his theatrical style, influencing the artistic direction of Queen. Born in 1946 in Zanzibar to Parsi-Indian parents, Mercury attended English-style boarding schools in India from the age of eight and returned to Zanzibar after secondary school. In 1964, his family fled the Zanzibar Revolution, moving to Middlesex, England. Having studied and written music for years, he formed Queen in 1970 with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor. Entombed (band)
Entombed is a Swedish death metal band formed in 1987 under the name of Nihilist. Entombed began their career as an early pioneer of Scandinavian death metal which initially differed from its American counterpart by its distinct "buzzsaw" guitar tone. However, by the early 1990s their sound had broadened to include garage rock and other influences. This new style would eventually be described as death 'n' roll. Entombed has been influenced by bands such as Slayer, Exodus, Black Sabbath, Celtic Frost, Autopsy, Repulsion, Kiss, The Misfits, Motörhead, Discharge, Death and Testament. Along with Dismember, Grave and Unleashed, Entombed has been referred to as one of the "big four" of Swedish death metal. ''Monkey Island'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band The J. Geils Band, though it is credited with the shortened band name of "Geils", the only album in their catalog that this was done. The album was released on June 9, 1977, by Atlantic Records. The album did not perform well in the marketplace, and would be the J. Geils Band's last original album for Atlantic Records after almost eight years with the label. It was, however, the band's first album on which they did not use an outside producer, as well as their first project with recording engineer David Thoener, with whom they later collaborated on their best-selling albums '' Love Stinks'' and '' Freeze Frame''. ''Deep Blue'' is the third studio album by Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive. It was recorded in Los Angeles, California, and was released on 25 June 2010 through Resist, Epitaph and Burning Heart Records. The album was produced by Joe Barresi. It debuted at number 2 on the ARIA charts and at number 39 on the Billboard 200 chart. It is also Parkway Drive's most critically acclaimed release, having a three-year separation between their previous album, '' Horizons''. At the J Awards of 2010, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. It won the 2010 ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album and has been certified gold in sales by the ARIA.
